Burger eater

Ive created a collarge of a woman eating a burger its based on a photograph i ahev found online and i tried my hardest to create similarities between the 2.
i am extremly please with my result and enjoyed the process.
i ahve taken multiple photographs to show the porgress.

Choco Drawings :D

This is my favourite technique so far. there are lots of possibilities and its fun to create new creative work with.
I would smudge it, texture it, melt the chocolate the list goes on.
here are a couple of examples of drawing with chocolate that i have produced.

Cooking Oil Pollock

On the Subject of food and experimenting i decided to use cooking oil and see what the outcome would look like. it reminded me very much of useing wax just without the bumps.
I found it more fun to flick the oil at the paper in a Jackson Pollock Kind of way.

choco sculpure

i was inspired to create a couple of chocolate sculptures from the work Gnaw By Janine Antoni. i have posted a link below with wikipedia information.

 I decided to have a go at sculpting useing my teeth and only my teeth.
The technique was fun and left me feeling slightly sick and slightly put off by chocolate.
i decided to start with basc shapes and created a heart a moon a cross and a christmas tree shape.
if i was to take this process futher i would buy the biggest bar of chocolate i could find as the size made it extra difficult.

Patterns were also attempted useing my teeth as a almost printing block.

ceramic collarge

i experimented with useing multi media and decded to see what would happen if i collarged a face onto a facial ceramics piece.
i first created the ceramic face developing comon faceshal features. i then chose a face from offline and cut out the features and also the skin tone and stick it down onto the ceramic base.

the texture of the glue on the paper creates a skin effect also which i found fasinating.

The result was unusual but for an experimental piece a sucess.

Jog My Memorie Seth

Its been over 6 whole weeks since i picked up a pencil and decided to sketch. So i decided to jog my memorie and get used to sketching again.
With my sketches im mainlytryign to focus on drawing faces as its not my speciality and i wish to better myself at this.
I chose a famouse person whos face is recognsable and easy to picture.
I decided to attemp to draw Seth Rogan an actor from many films such as Pinapple Express and Zack and Miri make a porno.

Athough its not a dead ringer its good practice and im learning new skills.

why so many passwords?

i havent been on to keep up to date as i forgotten my password =[.
All is sorted now and i will post a couple of blogs tonight.
So to catch up:

after my first blog i was ill for a while and missed out on helping generate ideas for a sweeded 2 min movie of MIB, i did try and put in some imput and would text my ideas to Bex. When i went in on the thursday i was asked to star as Will Smith. As soon as i can i will try and get the video on here as a record.

First Post; Damien Hurst Themed Party.

So my first group project of this year was to plan a party in the theme of an artist. I was placed in a group with the chosen Artist being Damien Hurst.
We were told to brain storm our ideas as first years untill the second year students joined us to give us there creative imput.
We decided to base our party on the theme of dots which is a great example of a fun and happy theme.

We got as many peers, tutors 2nd and 3rd years to put there mark on the wall useing our makeshift circle stamps (potatoes).

We stamped some peoples hands and made sure no person was without a colourful sticker.

Was great fun for all.
