landscape and urban clash

i had a meeting yesterday with Nick about my work, as i needed a little imput just to eght ym arse into gear.
I was talking to him about my ideas that ive had recently, about how i would like to clash urban and landscape together.Ive been given some artists to look more into such as Andy goldsworthy and David hockney.
Ive decided to create a sureal landscape consisting of both landscape and urban.
Im going to be takeing photos sometime this week if not today of urban landscape n replace aspects of natural landscape with theses obejects.
such as the urban tree being a lampost i will replace trees in my photos with lamposts or mabe create flowers from road sign or even have double yellow lines on the side of a dirt path. just little things change the whole iamge and recreate its origional meaning. i will be also experimenting with takeing away colour or contrasting the colours and creating some explosion of lively couour makeing it almost dangerous n thrilling to look at,
natural enviroment is usualy open and welcome. it gives off this sence that we are safe and the world is our playground, this is usualy due to the nuteral coulours. what if i created a landscape that looked as dangerouse as it actualy is. Dangers are not visible in certain places. everything is dangerouse in its own way, every single imadiquate object has the potential to harm us, we harm ourselfs by not being aware fo this, i will try and see what it is liek to imcorporate etxt into my work and focus on what i can do instead of diving into an area im not well educated with.
from my meeting with Nick i have finaly got a place that im headign for, to be able to discuss my ideas and what i would liek to do with someone else there to hear me this has helped me tons.
From my meetign with hazel at the beginign of term i will have to take into consideration some of the key issues that she has brought across and i will be concentrating on what she said would help me a lot which are 3 little words, HOW COULD I?

how could i encorporate my ideas of urban landscape clash
how could i identify the true icons of our day to day culter in teh city,
how could i identify the potential dangers that we can not see or think of
how could i create something that consists of natural and man made objects
how could i put together something that looks unnatural and scary
how could i interest people in my work to look closer at an image to identify what the unreal features are
how could i.... well already through this ive asked myself the basic of questions.

so now i know were im headign n what ideas i have i think its time i started.
just near me is a new railway beign built i think the construction would be a good place to start takeing photos of what is unatural in an urban landscape is already unusual to see. its confusing and makes you feel uncomfortable.
for example the other day i woke up and looked out of my window still half asleep i saw a huge crane towering over the houses my first thouhgt and im not jokeing were. Oh my god its a long neck dinosaur, i had no clue as to what it was till i eventualy woke up properly and realised how stupid i was to think that, and it was just a crane takeing the local bridge apart to rebuild a new one.(epic blonde momant).

Maybe i should start writing down all these crazy things i think, seen as my imagination works overtime, even my dreams are crazy, and confuse me as to what the hel i was thinkign or what would even make me dream of soemthing like that, ive had dreams were aliens took over the world with peanuts, its crazy there is no relation to aliens or peanuts and i dont think of either of them in my day to day life. I think if i started my dream journal the results would be interesting, i could have 2 projects n the go.
