\i did a lot of research and i based my work on L.S Lowry.
looking around the campus i saw blue plaques and red plaques the most were located on the building which holds the Holden Gallery.
There was a plaque in dedication to Adolf Vallent who was a french impressionist painter, he tutored at the school of art for many many years.

So my research started.
I found out that L.S Lowry was personaly tutored by Adolf Vallette the gentleman who has a plaque outside of the grosvenor building.
He studied by A. Vallette for 10 years.i then decided to research into the blue plaques themselves looking to see if ther was one dedicated to Lowry.
I found out he has a red plaque at his home in salford, but the upkeep of the home itself was appauling. rubbish in the gardens paint peeling off the windows, it looked like a council flat for addicts in the photograph.
i decided to create my won plaque in dedication to lowry, it was made from perspects and i designed the sign which was then was cut with the laser cutter by a tutor, i then created a basic frame and pieced them alltogether and then with the wonders of silk screen i printed the manchester emblem in the plaque colour of blue, so the lion unicorn and shield was present. then i glue gunned the plaque onto the frame and displayed it in the holden gallery.
